What happens when a call goes unanswered
Missed call follow-up usually means ringing people back at the end of the day, when they've already found someone else. Conversiq follows up straight away, every time, without you lifting a finger.
- The call rings out. You're busy, so you don't pick up. Instead of going to voicemail, the call diverts to Conversiq.
- A WhatsApp goes out within seconds. It comes from your verified WhatsApp Business profile, under your business name.

You keep the number your customers already have. During setup we divert the calls you don't answer to Conversiq, so they reach it after ringing out, instead of going to voicemail. Calls you pick up work exactly as they do today.
Your WhatsApp Business profile is verified with your business name, so the reply is clearly from you. Then you load your services, prices, hours and service area, set up your calendar, and you're live. Most businesses are set up within a few business days.

What if the caller doesn't have WhatsApp?
For now, the caller needs WhatsApp installed to get the follow-up. SMS as a fallback is on our roadmap.
Does it reply to every missed call, even spam?
It replies to callers whose mobile number it can see. Withheld numbers and landlines don't get a WhatsApp follow-up, because WhatsApp needs a visible mobile number to reach them. If the same number rings several times in a few minutes, it gets one message, not one per call.
Is this the same as missed call text back?
Yes. Many text-back tools send a single SMS and stop there. Conversiq carries on the conversation on WhatsApp until the job is booked. Read what missed call text back is.
